There is often a bit of luck involved in this type of goal.
For me, a GREAT goal requires individual skill such as timing a cross field pass and performing a bicycle kick whilst in mid air, and connecting beautifully to volley ithe ball into the corner of the goal

It's just a hoof, and with a bit of luck it goes in. Otherwise, it flies off and hits the corner flag and he is laughed at. it better not win goal of the season, rubbish. post-96 long range goals are shite.
